Hi All, I've bought some nice carbon fairings for my bike but want to get them sprayed. I want to get them sprayed so that the carbon shows though in places and number boards and stripes in yellow and white. I've had a look online and i'm going to send some emails to the ones I've found on google below for quotes, but would be interested to hear if anyone has had work done by any of them recently or if there are any others that are worth considering? http://www.racepaintuk.com/ http://www.dream-machine.co.uk/ http://www.gddesign.co.uk/motorcycle_paintwork.php http://www.jcpaintwork.co.uk/ https://www.ultimatebikepaint.co.uk http://www.revolutioncustompaint.co.uk/
Racepaint in Notts - Very Good - they did an RSV I purchased. Dream Machine - rarely hear a good thing about them. Not heard of the others.
My Land Speed Record Busa was done by them (a long time ago admittedly) - but the paint has shrunk and cracked in a few places, and were talking several mm
tjc design in Bristol... Tim, the main man, is great to deal with and his workmanship and prices spot on. In the same estate is reality motorworks who do polishing, powder coating and anodizing. Nic is the owner and also a top chap. I'm London based but it's well worth the drive to deal with peoples like these...
Thanks guys, i'll get a quote from TJC too, i'm happy to drive over with fairings if I know the results are worth it, I've spent a fortune on carbon fairings so don't want to be let down by the paint. Growing up just down the road from Dream machine, and seeing bikes painted by them at meetups etc I always thought they were good, but you guys have echoed comments i've had from mates saying they should be avoided these days.
I have used these guys, http://imagedesigncustom.co.uk/ in Camberley, Surrey, not far from M3 J4. Usually very busy (you need to give them a time frame to stick too) but quality work. Andy
Interesting....anyone got any recent prices Just so i can get an idea.....i was thinking of having my z1000 repainted in Eddie Lawson colours....i thought it would look pretty trick...ie old livery on a new shaped z1000....
