I have a friendly machinist who is able to produce a base gasket for any size down to 0.3mm. Louigi Moto uses them. This picture is of a 0.3mm steel 996 base gasket - they are £12 for a pair plenty in stock. I have a 2mm aluminium gasket in my 900SSie special.
