Hi All, this is a bit of a shot in the dark but would anyone on here be interested in a group buy on a custom top yoke to allow you to fit Superbike 53mm diameter forks to a ST? The new Yoke is the same offset as a standard ST yoke with 53mm fork mounts, the bottom yoke would need shimming from 54mm to 53mm for the forks to fit but 0.5mm Aluminium sheet is only a couple of quid on eBay. I have had Mark at MADASL come up with a design for my project bike, he has quoted me a reasonable price to have the top yoke made and the new yoke, bottom yoke (minus stem) and stem nut all anodised black but if I can get 3 or more people interested the price drops dramatically! As I will be running clip-ons from a 1098 the new yoke design does not have the mounts for the standard bars on it. I'm guessing that because of the change of bar mounts and the other bits and pieces required to fit Superbike forks most people will not be interested but its worth asking the question! Cheers Rich
Howdo! Not sure how much meat is on the ST yokes but I was advised against doing my SS yokes due to the stresses involved. Pro-Mach did my set (I went the whole hog in the end and had top n bottom including stem,adjustable), I think he charges about £100 for a top yoke. Cheers Pablo
Cheaper yes but as I'm going to be using clip-ons from a 1098 the top yoke will be left with a recess and holes from the standard bars which will look a bit rubbish imo...
