Well if this confirmed then good for him. Could easily , it seems, have sat with Honda and the Repsol money but a change like this makes me feel he feels the Yamaha is better suited to his style of riding. If Honda are designing the RCV around MM then that makes sense to me. That or Yamaha have offered him more than Honda who don't actually want him any more ! Interesting.
I think that Danni will work better with Valentino than Lorenzo. He is a good rider, but it's clear that his style is very different from Marquez and the Honda at the moment does not appear to be an easy bike to ride. The Yamaha may suit him better, but it may take a bit of adusting as he is a lot smaller and lighter than Valentino.
Dani Pedrosa on the verge of Yamaha move - GPxtra thats about as official as i can find at the moment! :sunglasses:
another link Dani Pedrosa switches to Yamaha - MotorLands.eu still not an official confirmation but it does seem to be all around the paddock..fingers crossed!
Oh what a surprise. .Spanish rider Spanish sponsored bike ..shame .should have given a new rider a chance. He won't win the title
shows that they want Rossi to win the title next year Does seem a little short sighted, 2 rider team where they are both on the last rungs of their career
An interview in pit lane suggests the seat at Yamaha is there for Maverick Vinialez ( spelling) he has yet to make his decision, maybe tomorrow or maybe at Mugelo. Steve
Or is it just a ruse to encourage Vinales to make his bloody mind up and stop prevaricating ? Am I cynical or what ? Andy
Thats my guess too. No idea why though. Factory suzuki or factory yamaha and he's "trying to work out to go with his head or his heart"? Sounds like his head's gone.
MCN Sport @MCNSport 1m1 minute ago News from Sepang WSBK: @jonathanrea has extended his deal with Kawasaki for another two years. Quashes any talk of a MotoGP switch.
Dani on the yam could be really good, seeing as he weighs as much as a bag of chips and the M1 is quicker than it used to be and still rewards a smooth riding style hopefully we'll see him regularly on the podium, it's his last chance at a title....
It would have been really interesting to see Dani on the Yamaha. If he can ride an 'uncontrollable' Honda so well then what would he be like on the most well sorted bike on the grid?
