Ok, I don't mind bringing some happiness into peoples lives at my expense. Get ready to laugh it up. Working from home today. I thought, I've managed to do some work. Now then, I'm sure I have some some leather trousers from when I use to ride bikes years ago. Great I found them and they fit. Result. While still on my high from saving a few quid... That's it, I'm going to find the leathers I bought for bike racing years ago, brand new, never used. It is worth mentioning at this stage my weight has been up and down like yo-yo with diets and training for sporting reasons. I am currently unfit and roughly 2 stone heavier due to excessive comfort eating than I was earlier this year and I was lighter than that previously. So you can guess where this is heading? I find them, they still look good. I get the legs on, then the top half, will the zip do up... yes, result. They fit, even if it is like a latex catsuit with a vacuum hose attached. Oh no wait, I can't get them off! stuggle, struggle. Improvise overcome and adapt. Find something to trap the sleeve in to get it off my shoulder. It's no good. I need to dislocate my shoulder to get these off on my own. Ring the wife and explain what I've been up to, hope you're not too busy I really need you to leave work. I have my race leathers stuck on and there is no way I can these off. She is travelling 30 mins to get here. I am sitting in them as I type this. Please I found them but probably should have waited until I lost a few KG. Just remember karma before you type.
I'm free and apparently a F ing idiot. I think she saw the funny side, lucky she was not having a bad day. Not a true Darwin award moment by definition but not my proudest..
It was good of you to share, no one was hurt, and it's always good to to laugh at yourself. By coincidence, just so you don't feel alone - left in a bit of a hurry to get out on a bike on Sunday as was late as usual, Ive yet to go home.
