Davey Todd has announced he has left the Padgetts team to have a new start with a new set up. Will be with new team at Cadwell apparantly.
saw an interview at the TT and he said he just couldn't get his head round how hard he would have to push to catch the top three given that he was already pushing 101% So dean harrison and todd moving somewhere and dao & padegtts have a spot? interesting
Guessing it’s road based decision, although he seems to have disappeared from everything recently, wasn’t he doing bsb this year?!
I suspect the bsb budget is a fair old stretch for padgetts, there's some fair old money sploshing around on the big teams. To compete with them, it'll take a major spend, maybe a spend too far for padgetts. Todd been doing bsb I think, but not figuring in the results. Can't see Harrison going to padgetts but i can see mcpint going there and the official Honda seat going to Harrison, for next year.
It must have been a difficult decision for DT as he seemed to have a great relationship with Clive/Paggetts, like in previous posts think the budget in superbikes is a struggle,the bikes struggled at the TT and both DT and Dean Harrison have obviously felt the need for better packages to help them achieve the individual goals..there'll be a least one of them at factory Honda.
