The saga continues with another 100 miles logged. I drove the bike at night to evaluate the lights. On a scale of 10 they rate a 9. There is a shadow in the middle of the road when the high beams are engaged. The low beams are superb. I can't give them a 10 as I have never seen a 10, maybe these are it? The fuel light consistently comes on when there are two gallons left in the tank, just a little annoying, making the trip odometers important. The windscreen is good enough for me. There is no buffeting, just wind noise. I would not change it and note that I have it set at the highest point. The bike still feels top heavy. I hope I get used to this aspect of the bike soon. I am used to low center of gravity bikes so probably just my current perception. Now to the most interesting part of my Ducati journey: The bike has developed the "trip odometer resetting to zero" malady whenever the bike is turned off. The bike did not do this for the first 300 miles. The only change that comes to mind is syncing the bluetooth to my phone and headset. So tonight I stopped for fuel and sure enough the reset occurred. I turned off the Sena headset and put my phone in airport mode disengaging the bluetooth link to the bike. Eureka, i came home, turned off the bike, turned it back on and the trip odometers did not reset to zero. I will confirm this solution upon my next ride. If true, goodbye to bluetooth on the Multi Strada.
The bike I rode didn't have a phone paired to it but had the trip issue They say there is a software update being tested and should be a couple of weeks away
Mine also has no phone paired - nothing set on blue tooth and the reset occurs every time I power off screen.
