Just joined. Have my 749 Ducati Dark bought near the end of 2004. Failed my first test, then another cancelled due to poor weather, then pneumonia and finally passed my test Feb 2005. Bike registered in March so it’s an 05 plate. Almost 20 years old already. Haven’t used her since Covid. Unfortunately have realised some idiot (moi) must have left petrol in her and the tank has rusted. Managed to find a replacement today (matt black), so have to sit on my hands now until it arrives. Then perhaps I can hear that oh so sweet roar I’m probably going to replace the left fairing (don’t know which kid I will kill for it) too, so if you hear of a Matt black left fairing going, let me know Live in Scotland and oh so many places to roam. Say hi if heading up this way for the first time, or have a DD connection in my search for the replacement fairing.
