Dealer Or Specialist

  1. Hi.

I’ve been a motorcyclist for many years and admired the Ducati brand from afar for way to long. I’m now the proud owner of a Panigale V2 and boy do I wish I’d ventured into the Ducati world sooner!

I’m now thinking of adding an older model to the stable. 748 possibly. My question is this…..Would you use a Ducati dealer or a specialist to look after a bike that’s maybe that big older and out of warranty?
    What are advantages of each?
    Cheers

  2. For something like a 748 I'd probably go to a known specialist, the 916/748 was launched back in 1994 so the best part of 30 years of knowledge out there.

  3. As Above - and it will also probably save you some money.

  4. yup, agree with all the above :upyeah:

  5. Depends where you are based, some areas you will be better served by a long term dealership and other areas are awash with great specialists, regular servicing in a 748 is way ore than you probably expect.
