Hi all Just to clear up what info your dealer is giving you in regards to delivery times on new dvt I first booked an order for the 1200s inc touring @ urban pack back in early February this year From dmc moto in Preston After reading many posts on here I'm getting very mixed messages who ordered what and when Spoke to Russ on Saturday and he says I can expect my bike in May ( maybe last week in May ) Apparently Ducati aren't giving any delivery times I don't know how the process works or how the bikes are allocated to orders placed. I wish there could be more info available ie: tracking of bike like parcel deliveries. Please post your views on: What bike ordered When bike was ordered Where bike ordered ETA on bike Many thanks
I only put the above post because as hopefully many can understand I'm proper excited about getting my new Ducati hopefully ASAP Btw got demo booked for Thursday just to wet my whistle
1200S White, Touring Pack factory fitted. Urban Pack, LED Aux Lights & Keyless Filler Cap ordered for fitting by dealer. Ordered with small deposit on 10th November 2014, from Ducati Aylesbury. Confirmed on Expected delivery to dealers - May (no date just sometime that month)
I would also like to understand how the process works ? Ordered a 1200S with Touring pack in early January, the order said April delivery. Dealer has been very helpfully but no sign of the bike or delivery date.
İ am guessing it should be in by end of May beginning of June , I am ordering mine today hopefull. Will get 1200s touring pack From inmoto Croydon !
I have been getting the impression that the S models are being held back. My Dealer said Demo was due in any time, even they were thinking in a week or 2 at beginning of the month but they do not really have an idea when, but would let me know, I do think that Ducati do not give delivery dates, they just turn up.
Apparently Ducati invoices the dealer about 2 weeks before they are delivered which will be the first indication of imminent delivery. The invoice will quote the bike's VIN.
S model with touring and urban packs ordered beginning March from Moto Italia Lincoln. Was told initially the April would be delivery but no definite date. That is not going to happen and I suspect or hope it will be May!
Ordered a 1200s with touring pack at the end of March from Ducati Glasgow, they were unable to provide an approximate delivery date, but I'm aware the demo arrived last week, about a week or so later than they expected. The only detail they could disclose was that bikes were allocated in line with the date they were ordered, not in preference to individual dealerships. Hopfully get more idea of a date as the bike orders roll in!!
They were spooked by BMW to launch it a year early. All other bikes in the development schedule were delivered on time. Eg. Monsters and Panigales. Even the Scramblers have turned up in droves. The Multistrada since the 2010 has become the most technologically adavanced bike in their lineup in terms of every day usage. The Panigale is a racing pedigree. Ordered mine in October last year from Pro Twins in Godstone. Red S with Touring Pack Enduro except lights Urban Pack Pannier liners Full system. No delivery dates. But dealer received demo bikes last week. Actual bikes should arrive in the next two weeks. I was the 5th order. ALL accessories have arrived by early March.
I order mine today from In Moto Croydon. Expecting mid June! Red 1200 s Touring pack ! Yay ! Will test ride it next week when the bike arrives to dealer but I can tell by the looks of it the bike is amazing ! ... Hopefully the bikes and orders comes quick? lol can't wait!
I only put the above post because as hopefully many can understand I'm proper excited about getting my new Ducati hopefully ASAP Btw got demo booked for Thursday just to wet my whistle I think generally the census on here is most/all dealerships in UK are telling folks that people who have put in early orders for s version is going to be some time in May Let's just all hope there's a HUGE shipping container in Dover docks next Tuesday awaiting dispatch.......
Ordered an s touring from InMoto In Croydon on the 14h April, had conformation demo tuning up this week, mine due at the end of the 3rd week In May...Fingers crossed!!
Hi All Newbie here from Bedford. I ordered my 1200s on the 1st of December from St Neots motorcycles and I was the 4th order. I haven't heard anything from them so I guess they still don't know when the bikes will be arriving. I must admit it's torture waiting for news but I don't want to seem a pain in the arse pestering them. Lets hope for all our sakes its soon.
Ordered mine in mid February and was told March build, April delivery. That didn't happen.... I had this from the dealer (Sheffield) a few weeks back:- As yet we have no movements on the ST models. However, I see from our link with the factory that our first two standard models are now built, so I’m hoping that production of our eagerly awaited ST models will be imminent. As soon as I spot an update, I will notify you straight away. The first hint we get is when the bike shows up as “In Progress”. This status normally applies for two days, then it shows as “Completed”. Once it shows as “Completed”, this indicates that the bike has been crated up and has left the factory and is usually with our dealership within 10 to 12 days. As regards Datatag, yes, all new Ducatis come with the Datatag as standard. I had an email today saying mine has been shipped, so fingers crossed it will land in a few weeks. Mines: White S Touring ·sat nav ·hands free filler cap ·Touring Windscreen ·Spoiler for Screen ·Lowered Seat ·Pannier liners ·Engine bars ·Rad guard ·LED light set ·Carbon Exhaust (slip on) Have also been told the Sat Nav and filler cap are not showing on the parts computer yet
