I've an 848 (2008) - are the decals (on the lower fairing) usually lacquered over or not? One of mine seems to be coated and one not?? Just curious.... Thanks in anticipation...
Thanks outintheopen, might see if the guy who did my BSA decals and do another sterling job once I've got the decals on.
Is there a recommend method of removing existing decals and anything to be done before replacing them - i.e. clean with spirits or the like?
removal If not laquered in so just resting ontop of the paint/laquer, I've tended to use a hairdyer on mid heat for a few moments to supple them up and generally they will come off okay and then use something like baby wet wipes or wd40 on some rag, will remove any goop residue
