Selling my 959 as I now have a new bike. 2016 on a 65 plate, HPI clear V5 in my name, 6300 miles, Current MOT, good service history, Original wallet with service book and owners manual and spare key. I bought this from a forum member in Feb this year. He purchased it as a standard road bike from Ducati Aylesbury in 2021 and specced it into a track bike with the following parts… CRC race bodywork. Lightech rearsets(race shift). GB Racing engine protection. R&G front and rear spindle sliders. Evotech paddock stand bobbins. R&G lock stop savers. I have added.. Spider rear shock support. Carbon tank sliders. Easigrip tank grippers. Brembo SR front pads. It’s a clean bike, no accident damage, has standard 1299 silencer conversion. Previous owner only done 5 track days over 2 years on it, and I have done 4 this year. Both of us running in Middle group, so it’s not had a hard life. Service history as follows: 14/06/16, 625 miles Ducati Aylesbury 22/11/16, 2294 miles Ducati Aylesbury 22/05/18, 4427 miles Ducati Leeds 11/01/21, 5091 miles Ducati Aylesbury 2x oil and filter changes by previous owner, with parts invoices. 2x oil and filter changes by myself including 1x pre filter check and clean, with parts invoices. These were carried out as per workshop manual specifications using OEM aluminium crush washers, OEM oil filters and new o-rings for filter cover, Shell Advanced oil and correct Threebond sealant. All fasteners tightened in correct sequence and to correct torque values (15Nm for sump plug). I know the previous owner took the same care, as he had the torque values on a white board in his garage! I have all the original OEM parts to put it back to road trim, lights, original rear sets, mirrors, number plate hanger, ect ect…will also include front and rear paddock stands, all of which included in sale. Unfortunately the previous owner sold the original fairings and tail unit panels. I do have a full set of Red OEM bodywork panels which I could sell separately if required, I bought these with the intention of putting back to road spec at some stage, but they would need painting as the finish is not great. Price drop! £7000 or £7500 with the OEM bodywork including a spare tank. Tank is the original to bike, undamaged with good original red paint.
This is a huge amount of bike for the money, if I didnt have one I'd snap this up. I have a road going 959 which I was about to convert to track use but this is making me wonder if I should sell it and grab this instead
Yeah, it’s a bargain in my eyes. If it don’t sell, I will prob get the OEM bodywork painted and put it back to road spec and sell Spring next year. I just don’t have the time at mo and could do with the space in my garage.
