Good read. I read elsewhere they tested at Misano a chassis with the engine rotated back 30 degrees, presumably this would allow the crank to be further forward?
Dunno about crank position theory but as an engineering type I would think it would move a rotating mass nearer to the C of G removing forces when speeding up or slowing down? It would also give more latitude to move things like wheelbase, C of G etc? OGR
