Hi all, does anyone know where to .find information on the suspension settings? I'm off to le manns next week and I'd like to use some of the track time to set the bike up as it's a pig and always has been. I've had a static setup here in the UK and springs and oil changed but it's still a wobbly mess under power. You just can't tell on the road. At jerez, portimao and almeria it's a lot more hard work to ride than my 1199. Now I know it's no comparison but it shouldn't be this poor at handling or difficult to ride. P.s this is my 3rd year of ownership so Im not new to the desmo. Cheers.
Have you taken it to ProTwins? They have many customers running Desmos and Rob is a god with suspension
Yes, rob done the spring change for me. I just need a guide as to what it should be in terms of height and where compression and rebound settings are located on the rear. Cheers.
For the road I backed all the preload off mine and for the track I'd guess you should have a pro set it up for you individually, but you know that. The road setting made the bike rideable on our rather pot-holed roads down in the South West.
Now there's an idea, hadn't thought of that.......lol Joking aside, Im after some guidance I can print out and take with me. I'm planning on calling rob as a last resort but guiding me over the phone once is not quite the same. In regards to pro setup, definitely if someone's there, but the fact that no limits can't even organise a tyre changing guy or fuel, it's unlikely!! Needless to say, I won't be using them again, £100 extra to use a paddock as well.
