Detailing

  1. I suppose I have to learn about this and cleaning etc. Or

    Can anyone recommend a "detailing" company that will do a acf 50 treatment ?

    When I were a lad my dad used to call it "spit & polish" evolution eh!

  2. All Year Biker do a wash and ACF50 treatment: Halosmart Products They do use a jet wash so if you're paranoid about it, may want to go elsewhere. I have used All Year Biker in autumn to treat my Monster before winter commuting.

  3. I remember reading on 'Riders' dealership website that they offer a service were the bike is cleaned, treated with ACF 50 and stored in a temperature controlled place over the winter from Oct-March. They have 3 dealerships, 1 in Cardiff and Bristol but can't remember the 3rd!

  6. I had the clean and AFC treatment by Riders in Bristol - rode my bike quite a bit through the winter and the treatment seems to have done the job with no signs of any corrosion.

  7. Blimey. It really isn't that hard to clean and treat a bike yourself. How much do Riders charge?

  8. Yep.

    I cant remember exactly but though it seemed better than doing it myself.
