Diablo corsa 111s

  1. Hi folks. New on here so probably going to cover well trodden ground. It's time to change my tyres on my 996, always gone for Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3s. Wondering if i can milk your collective brains on what might be worth a try ??
Steady road rider, occasionally fast, no track days. Was considering Avons ?? Cheers for any input folks.

  2. Hello and welcome just don't ask about tax discs or oil
Think you just get away with tyres
Someone with experience will be along shortly :)

  3. Not tried the avons but I wasn't impressed by the 111's on my 1098. Switched to Bridgestone bt16 and they were brilliant. The newer pro's are better still. I'm running rosso 2's on the monster and they're pretty good to.

  4. Had Rosso IIIs on an R1 and they are the only tyres that let go on me, once the front (ar5e clincher!) and then the rear on separate rides. My gsxr k8 came with part worn Pirreli tyres that seemed to move about far to much in damp conditions.
Both bikes dramatically improved by fitting Michelin tyres.
Had Bridgestone on an R6 and they stuck like#### to a blanket. Wear rate was ridiculous though.

  5. Ive got Rosso Corsos on my 1098, which Ive found great when upto temp and on track, loads of grip and feel. In the damp or wet, they are only good when bolt upright
