I'm pretty sure they stopped making the corsa iii about 7 or 8 years ago if not 10 years so they will be well past useable grip by now. Can you read the date codes on them ? 4 digit codes. Ie: 2314 Week 23 2014
I tried them on my 1098. Hated them. Got rid after about 600 miles. Pirelli soon ditched them and went on to the Rosso and Rosso Corsa. Front had little feedback and the rear never felt good and spun regularly.
Yep, that's what I feel. I don't like the transition from hard middle to soft outer, the middle area feels wrong. Rear spun a few times on me now, mainly in the first few miles hence the post. Seems to run wide too, but maybe that's suspension.
Nope you read them correctly They must have been stored in daylight or extreme temperature. They might improve with more miles
Turns out Pirelli recommend a different tyre pressure for their tyres than Ducati. Looks like it should be a fair few PSI higher. I've just sent them a message to find out what I should be running.
Maybe your just a better rider than me. Pirelli came back with 32/36. @mcr998, I'm going to a bike meet in Redborn tonight for the first time, Beds Herts and Bucks bikers. I'll buy you a non-alcoholic beverage if you fancy it.
Yep awful tyres, had them on my 7 when I first bought it, stuffed it into a roundabout and it slid about three feet before coming back, that was enough. Fitted CT2's ever since and never looked back, but the 4's are getting good press .......
Had them on an R1. Unpredictable and one outstanding, (in the wrong way), memory of loosing the front only for it to re-grip. Very easy to spin the back tyre on corner exit as well. In fact the Pilot Road 2ct of the time was superior in all respects and was considered a sports tourer tyre. Best option to get rid IMO.
@Cream_Revenge I would have loved to have gone tonight, however work has other ideas, maybe next time
