Heard a huge variation of pressures being used at Almeria last week. As low as 24 and as high as 36 for the rear. I settled on 28/32 and went a pound lower as it got hotter in the afternoon. Andy
Was about 33/34 on the rear and 34 front. I don't seem to work the front as hard as I do the rear. The tyres were pretty clean when the bike was ridden hard but tended to have a few small rolls of rubber when I was off the pace. Andy
Probably bit late now... but SC cold 27 rear works up to 30 well enoug hot with most mid pace riders ime
Because you have about the right pressure in your tyres for your pace. This is an informative read https://lifeatlean.com/motorcycle-tyre-wear-guide/. Andy
Im doing a road bike only day at Donington on the 14th June. I have run tyre warmers for a long time now but obviously they're not allowed. I've got Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas on my road wheels so will be using them so just trying to get a starting point for cold pressures. I always ran supercorsa's at 32f 26r hot when i used them a few years back but the compounds will be different now I guess.
Not tonight. I feel like I've had 7 bails of shit kicked out of me. Drinking Doom Bar finding strength for a shower.
Too much air in the rear especially if it doesn't usually happen, you haven't changed the bike's settings, and you're used to these tyres. Either that or being greedy! (these new emoticons look sooooo crap!) I guess you've got the maker's recommendations? Edit: 200/55 as 180/60
