Thinking of changing my front cog down to a 14t,I know I'll lose a bit of top end but its very lumpy round town especially with a pillion, so I was thinking that this would be a cheaper option than a remap. I know its the norm to change both cogs and chain but looking at the state of the rear and chain they don't look at all worn so I was hoping to just swap the front for the time being then later on change all three. So apart from the loss of top end are there any pro's/cons regarding this mod and anyone recommend an outlet for said sprocket? Thanks Rick
Any Ducati I've had with a 15t front, I've swapped for a 14t, without any problems. 1t off on the front is like adding 2 to 3 on the rear. There is another thread in the Diavel forum about the same subject, have a look at the comments and advice.
