Just had my Diavel serviced - a few issues with it have been resolved. But it has come back - and low rev running is a bit rubbish. It is like it needs choke / choke has been left on - depending on how hot the bike is. When it is at lows revs from cold it is snatch you, almost misfiring. Once the engine is warm, anything below 3 k seems again that it is misfiring / rough running. TBH i have been riding other stuff in preference - is this how they are and i have just forgotten, or do i need to talk with the dealer?
"And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it Ducati has failed to hear?" ― Martin Luther King Jr. (Diavel owner)
What you describe is certainly not and has never been, typical of the Diavel my girlfriend rides. Did you use an authorised dealer ? Andy
Yes, I did ... And I was kind of surprised with the answer they gave me, as I do not remember it being typical. They said "they all do that , sir". I will speak to them tomorrow
It has just occurred to me, you are talking about the bike feeling rough in 1st and 2nd gear ? Please don’t say 3000rpm in 3rd gear. 45mph before you get into 3rd if you have stock front sprocket. Andy
TIS running on one tooth less on the - but will be going to he dealers on Monday for them to have a look ...
My 1260 was a bit like that .... very hesitant at about 3 - 4000 revs. Must admit it did annoy me and when I asked my dealer again said they all do that, they’re choked to death with the new emissions rules, buy a £2000 Termi that will sort it out was the suggestion.
