After my recent bout to the UK and back from Amsterdam, something that became apparent is my knees are not as good as they once were. Does anyone know of any smart looking bolt on pegs for leg resting? Being 6'2", even with the seat with it's kiddie seat attachment to make it taller, I still squat like I'm trying to take a shit on a overnight train out of Mumbai (speak from experience there). I'm not looking for long term solution, just something I can bolt on without damaging where every they bolt on to and remove when not in use.
You need something like these https://www.wish.com/gb/product/hig...ad-king-street-glide-5e64e85e0244052593b33b00 Highway pegs the Americans call them, you can stretch your legs right out and put them on these, might work if you have crash bars on your bike. Or failing that, buy a BMW and rest your legs on the sticky out rocker covers, I’ve done this a few times on my old BM 1100
As funny as it sounds, I use the Evotech engine crash bungs to rest my legs on if I’m getting tired and achy. They stick out just far enough to be comfortable!
Not a huge difference in position but might be enough > SW Motech EVO footrest kit I've done the same for just a supported stretch when on the autoroute, resting my calves on them. Not comfortable or practical for an extended period but a significantly different position to alleviate any aches from maintaining the same leg position on straight road saddle time days.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, however, my wife and I ordered a 3D printer and I have an idea of where to clip them too.
Gilles do a set of pegs that drop by 15mm. Something like this might work: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372525158876
