I've got a similar one - works well. The one I've got has a bend in it which makes routing the cable out of it a little easier

No it's like the one posted but bent although I like this with built in wire which should keep the water off better.
You absolute star, that's exactly what I have been about to go looking to buy as part of my kit for upcoming tour to charge up iPhone and battery packs
Does anyone know the power rating of the front DIN socket as I was looking to power a small air compresser from it for keeping my tyres up to pressure when touring. If it isn't man enough I may have to resort to hardwiring a waterproof cigarette lighter straight from the battery with an inline fuse.
