V4 Dirty Pictures

  1. Having got your attention :)

100 mile run on the "finest" single track / goat tracks / back roads that Surrey and Sussex has to offer and the bike ends up looking like the pictures below.
I am sure the 1260 never got that dirty! The V4 seems to attract muck and throws it everywhere including over my trousers, ended up hosing the bike and myself down when I got home. Seems the wings channel dirt onto my legs, worse on the LH trouser leg but also some on the RHS.
Anyone else with a V4 finding that they get very dirty very quickly?

BTW - Everyone else also had very dirty bikes and the KTM Super Duke rider had muck on the back of his jacket as well :)

  4. Filthy, now get soaped up and wipe her down

  5. It's not an adventure bike you know. Put a 19" front wheel on it and it'd come back clean:joy:

  7. Like seeing bikes being well used. It’s what they were made for.

  8. I’ve asked Evotech to make an engine guard, to protect the front of the engine from all that crap. Hopefully it’ll be available soon.

  9. Doesn’t it say in the small print that the warranty is invalid if you get it dirty? :joy:

  10. They seem to have reduced the sugar or molasses in road salt-spreaders this year. Though the roads once dry soon turn the usual salt white, that sort of dried dirt is very abrassive'
