Warp Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I have a genuine warped disc condition. How do I know: 1) Braking is very uneven 2) Condition wasn't there when I got the machine 3) Condition appeared after I tried to run with the disc lock on ;-) 4) I can see the warp, when it passes throgh the pads 5) In the same area of the disc, where it leaves the outer pad, it rusts near the periphery, it doesn't on the inner side. Unfortunately, since the machine is old and rare, I cannot find any dealer, who can sell me a new disc. I sent one dealer the complete measurements, and they replied that they could deliver a disc from another model, which is "identical". So, I look up the details, but in the manual for the donor model it says to change discs when worn down to 5,8mm, in my own manual it says change at 4,5mm. Now, for lack of technical expertise, my question is: Can that really be the same disc which has so different wear limits on different models? If not, can I mount a thicker disc without needing to change the entire break system? Any help very much appreciated. Martin
