Do You Have A Bmw 1250 K50, K51, K52, K53, And K54 ?

  1. I understand that there is an issue with the Cardon Shaft on these models that could require more frequent maintenance due to a manufacturing error. If you aren’t aware, there appears to be a lot of info on the internet, , is an example. Andy

  2. My shaft, fnarrr fnarrr, was replaced last year FOC as my mileage was 50,000. We all got a letter stating a new one will be fitted every 60,000 kms. Regardless of how many owners it’s had. It’s now a serviceable item.
    Mines a 13 plate GS1200.

  3. I was aware and received my letter last year.

    I saw an article that bikes that had been used regularly off road were more affected , but how true that is is hard to say.

    Approx 47000 miles. Some my dealer saw that had done 18000 were worse:astonished:
