Do You Really Need A Panigale Or A Multistrada ??

  1. I bought a £600 CB500 recently and did a track day on it which was a great laugh (thats the Panigale bit), and have just done 2000 miles in 5 days completing Lands End to John O Groats (thats the Multistrada bit.
Do any of us really need more??

  2. Nope, you've just summed up biking as it should be. Nothing more or less just enjoyable.

  3. Well I'd destroy a CB on track unless it was race prepped and suspension sorted, and would get sick of thrashing it on lomger runs once the intial 'fun' appeal has worn off

    So yes, we do

  4. On a track yes, on road if you had well sorted cb500 most note, some bit more. Bet all would have fun.

  5. What do we truly need though ??

I will say that there's something to be said about ragging the tits off of a 'lesser' vehicle and taking it beyond its limits. Very rewarding.

Whereas most sports bikes take it all in their stride.

  6. Thats what an 848 or 899 is for. Ragging to an inch of its life
