Hi guys, I just registered myself over here as i hope you could help me out. Looks there is a lot of knowledge here. I recently bought a Ducati 749S 2006 (apparently shallow sump I found out) and I am able to buy a asymetric Termignoni system, coming from a 999S 2006. This one is a deep sump. I would like to know if this could fit. I already found out that the other way around (shallow sump to deep sump) does not fit at all but I want to know if this one will. Some links say it won't fit but would it be easy to adjust in order to make it fit? Could anyone help me out? Thanks in advance! Giel from the Netherlands.
Thanks. Would it fit when I replace the horizontale pipe by this one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Horizontal...793101&hash=item342da58062:g:MKIAAOSw6~dfJ8us
What is the advantage of a 999 asymmetric system over a 749 one? I could understand if you were asking about full 54 or 57mm systems but to swap one asymmetric for another asymmetric doesn’t look like it would do much. In my opinion.
That is a stock link pipe with Cat. You need the non-deep sump front link pipe with no Cat. Think this is the correct one
My 749S has currently a hand made system on it and I want to replace it by a Termi (just for the looks..) And the point is, a termi system for sale is quite rare. This is the only system in Holland as I can see now. Current system installed:
Just to complicate things. You need the later front link pipe for the 749/999 with the black swing arm. Good luck.
I have a brand new termi link pipe here for a shallow sump 749s. Never been fitted as I bought it last year as part of a complete kit with the ECU, end can and cover. DM if you are interested. I also have a recently repaired asymmetric can that I need to re-pack that I will sell once it is done.
