Im not a huge fan of carbon fibre and have been trying to find a hugger which isnt made from the stuff. Its harder than i expected! Any recommendations out there? Ali
That could work as it wouldn't stand out so much against the matt swing arm so much. I don't have anything against carbon it's just not my thing.
picture of mine on here - hard to photo lol - http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f88/matte-satin-carbon-feedback-6803/
That looks nice Char. I'll get it touch with Conquest and see if they can do a short hugger in matt....seem to only have a long one at the moment. Thanks for the tip. Ali
The short hugger on the 848 is next to useless. If its protection you're after you need a long one, or fit a shock tube.
These chaps have the GRP option. Not cheap...! Rear Hugger [Ducati 848/1098/1198] - £146.08 : Scarlatti Moto LTD, Carbon Fibre Parts, Ducati, Aprilia, MV Agusta and Cagiva
I've got a carbon scarlatti front vented/meshed mudguard and it's fecking lurverly, the grp black hugger for the 848 comes in at £109 which yes is expensive for grp.
I think Powerbronze and Skidmarx may also do them in placcie...Although their websites are a bit pants...Could be worth a call...
