Does anyone know what a tube attached to the v-piece do? (1098)

  1. I've got 1098 (with full Termis if this makes any difference) and I was fitting Evotech oil cooler guard today... everything went well but I noticed there was a black rubber tube attached to the front fairing (v-piece) on right hand side (when looking from the front) which was then disappearing under the engine. When I was refitting the v-piece I realised that this tube is not connected to anything at the other end (under the engine). It looks bone dry so I'm assuming breather/overflow tube. Am I right? Or did I disconnected it from something? I only got the bike a couple of weeks ago so I'm still getting familiar with it. I tried searching workshop manual but couldn't find it :frown:

    Thanks
