This page, https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/bikes/multistrada/multistrada-950, shows them the same dry weight, 204kg. Andy
No. That says 204 for the 950 and 207kg for the 950s. This is giving me zero confidence in the Ducati website as they don't even know the weight of their own bikes"
This site has them 204/207 as well...only 5kg lighter than the 1200 https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/ducati/ducati_multistrada_950_20.html
It may well be dumb-arse me, but I would expect expensive Ohlins suspension to save weight and not add it. I would check MCN and Visordown to see what they say but as weighing bikes is nowhere near as trendy as saying that you would of been a MotoGP champion if it wasn't for Mummy wanting you home for tea, then I have zero confidence in them actually doing their job properly and weighing the bikes themselves. There does seem to be a concerted effort by the bike industry to confuse. BMW give their weights wet whereas many others give their weights dry. Suits everybody to not be clear and supports an aftermarket weight saving industry (who could inconveniently tell you that you could just go for a p1ss rather that buy their "Weight-saving" gizmo).
MV Agusta have the same problem. Their Super Veloce Oro, which has lots of magnesium and CF is apparently the same weight as the standard Super Veloce which is 7k less. Same everything in fact. Maybe the Websites are run by the same people.
Its an error. At one point last week they had the new V4 Multi weighing in at something like 2418kg on their website.
