That sickening feeling when the fuel light comes on half way round your ride out and you realise that you've left your wallet at home. Followed by a slow ride home, sticking as close to 56 mph as possible. :Shamefullyembarrased:
maybe well known fact, maybe not,, but many gas stations will let you fill up and then pay later,, even over telephone by card,,, i know because it happened to me,,150 miles from home, no fuel, no card, no cash,,, the woman was very good, no dramas . ( i had driving licence with me as ID )
I remember going onto reserve after a spirited ride, dropping into MPG mode and then getting passed by a Honda Blackbird on the way home. Well, it would have been rude not to catch the Honda up after he'd gone to all that trouble ... ten miles later, I literally coasted into the petrol station with a completely dry tank. Fun
