Has anyone else noticed the Irwin brothers seem to be on a (much needed) charm offensive recently? Even the comms yesterday kept trying to re-affirm how theyre "good lads really" and how much they like their "will to win". Might just be me and my irrational dislike of the pair of them though.
TBH it's all got a bit silly, so Higgs is watching it unravel around his ears... and now ray has 60+ points going into the last round, it's going to be a huge anti climax. I think this is the first year where the showdown system probably hasn't worked, because 3 or more of the riders have dropped SO many points in such a short period in the showdown.
I havent watched a bsb race since the first season showdown came in. Utterly futile excercise now. May as well go and watch trackdays.
I cant quite put my finger on why I don’t really watch as much of it as I should do really. Might be the show down format Might be the depth (or largely lack of it) in the field these days. Might be that half the tracks make me squirm when im watching it (although I enjoy the TT conversely). Definitely missing something though, to what it “used to be”.
Higgs will massage them regardless... it will include cleaning and catering staff... and 'across the weekend' figures.
That'll be my Sunday tickets wasted! A few other championships already decided too, I fear an anti-climax.
I dont think any of the GP classes will go down to Valencia either but thats probably for another thread.
