No, he'll sneak up on ya, and ban yer bad ass. Many people are disappearing, I think it's the aliens :Wideyed:
Problem is, that's just far far too easy these days on a Superbike (or not even). It's the main reason I'm still pondering over road registering the 848 and using it on occasions.
It's one of the reasons I was keen to get my 750 back up and running for the daily commute. If the "option" to go insane speeds is not there, you cannot succumb to temptation :Angelic:
I am being economical with the truth Loz but being less than 24 hours before April 1 I hope you will forgive me If one came up I would probably get it - the seat unit was the inspiration for the 916. There is a Supercity 50 which is also a gem. Sorry for going off-topic E.T. - please don't ban me.
maybe time ducati offered a smaller capacity sports bike, or i just look else where. and for not getting banned, dont get me started.
All jokes aside, I think there is a sea change in the air. When going to prison just for speeding is a very real threat, it's time to re-assess one's needs for the road at least. Thankfully the European parliament have shot themselves in the foot by unifying the licensing system, and now the manufacturers are bringing out loads of cool mid-range bikes that also happen to be pretty damn cheap. Which not only means that bike sales are on the up, it also means there are other options to litre+ superbikes. The most fun I had on bikes was when the 250 was king, you could thrash the tits off them and still stay within spitting distance of the legal limit. Much as I like the raw power of a big bike, there's bloody nowhere (in Surrey at least) you can use it without attracting unwanted attention. I'd already dipped out of the power race long before I got the SV650, cos apart from hitting France and going banzai, the bikes were just wasted. Now look at what we've got: The MT07 is getting rave reviews, the Scrambler keeps the hipsters happy, and there's every genre from nakeds, adventure, half-faired, full-faired, custom and every niche in between, all in the mid-range sector and all cheap as chips. I don't know what my next bike will be, but it's highly unlikely to be a litre bike.
I'm fairly sure my next road bike will be either a Yamaha XT660X (I've owned 5 previously) or a KTM 690 Supermoto.
