  1. they seemed to have banned non homologation suspension with immediate effect. So, no more fancy FGR forks and 108mm brake setups... this to dumb down WSBK as they got to fast for the motogp's.. grrrr.... :(
next year WSBK will be superstock level...

so no more Pani RS14 either? huhhh ... :(

there will be lot of nice of nice kit available shortly ...

  2. Or to let BMW win. Either / or

  3. Oh yea of little faith and long experience

  4. Good, it's about time they showed some sense. It's all very well allowing such technical masterpieces onto racebikes, but if no fucker can afford to race them, what's the point?

Both motogp and WSB need to get to the point where the riders are getting paid for risking their necks every other weekend before worrying about flowery spec lists. And for my money it's correct that a streetbike class should be closer in spec to the roadbikes they're based upon.

  5. Its just that I picked Marco Milandri for my Fantasy team

  6. intellectually, you're right..... but i want to see the topstuff on the bikes... its so f...ing hoorny.... if i want SS i can see it everyday... everywhere.... i want the special parts! :)

  7. So you'd rather have sexy bikes and boring racing over good, close racing..?

  8. Also, with closer controls on standard parts, we'll see the resurgence of homologation specials. And that's never a bad thing.

  9. it didn't look like WSBK was boring last years
    Six brands fighting it out...

yep... bought the R to soon! :(

well, will kep her as a 'wet' bike next to the RR (RS with mirrors and no place to stick the taxplate) dry bike then.... :) :)

  10. This is old but MotoGP is prototype class so everything should be allowed. WSBK is based on production bikes hence what Figaro said base it on homologation specials. Kope you will be then able to buy a bike close to WSBK spec rather then build it.

  11. grrr....building it was just the fun bit ....... well it was to be my last anyway, so. now i'll have built an oldschool WSBK front to go with the oldschool styling..... :)

  12. Quite frankly I'm happy for them to dumb down motogp as well. For me racing is the spectacle, not the individual bike parts. I'm quite happy to go along with whatever makes the racing more exciting.

  13. BMW have to win the championship one year soon, as otherwise they'll pack it in.

  14. If the fancy kit has to be homologated then that leads only to one place in my eyes.

    Genuinly special homologation specials.

    Cool

  15. Exactly!
