  2. Lovely area there. I do admire all those tough enough to brave the February weather in Wales. Nice pics

  3. Hi I did see a Multi there so was that yours or what colour was the other one ? I had a great weekend up there but the ride home was freezing in that rain ! Was that your first Dragon Rally ? It was mine so I can cross that off the to do list

  4. Mine was the black one in the pics. Glad you enjoyed it. Been going off & on for 13 yrs. kinda gets you for some weird reason :)

  5. I was frozen when I got home so at the moment not too keen on next year !

  6. Did the Dragon for about 4 or 5 years running in the late 70's and early 80's.
    Most vivid memories are:
    - going one year on my 900SS in the rain, being passed by a geezer when negotiating a deep puddle and his bow wave flooded my bell mouth carb, stopping the motor dead. Didn;t even stop to apologise!
    - Standing round the bonfire in the lashing rain, getting p**sed, and having to turn round very 5 minutes so the wet side could dry.
    - Waking upon Sunday morning with the side of the tent practically touching my face. Caused by 6" snow falling over night. Getting the bike off that steep sided field was interesting to say the least!
    - Coming home with hands so cold that I had to stop half way and have a brew in a cafe to warm up. Nearly cried with the pain as the feeling came back into my fingers.

Glad I did it back then but couldn't think of anything worse now!

  7. Not sure if I will next year ! Alright there but was frozen on the way home

  8. I to went to the Dragon this year what a fantastic rally. Camped over towards the lake which like eveywhere became a bog of mud. Did'nt think the bike would make it out.
Nice that a few mad people on here went to.
