DOH! I hadn't realised that the plastic licence has a fixed lifespan, like a passport! I thought I'd be waiting until 70 to look at licence renewal, but it expires when I'm 69. Expiry month/year is in long form on the front and as a 'stamp' on the back as Month/Year...
Pretty easy to do online, costs £14. Do it direct on the official site, there are scammy sites out there that provide a 'service' but charge you extra.
Good point to check it, being diabetic mine last for a shorter time, I will check it later, as I can’t remember when it expires/d. im fairly sure they remind me in good time
Every 3 years for health restricted licences. It strikes me as strange that I can no longer drive a camper van ! One of the rules of a restricted licence.
Or you can walk into a large Post Office (not all do this service), cough up £21.50 and they send it to you.
