Pictures shows a modification made to my 1098 clutch basket. Made this in 2017 and is now tried and tested. These steel "shim" macined onto the basket can of course be renewed when worn and can also be shimmed with for example 0.5 mm strips. Works verywell and basket and plates will last "forever". Slots can be shimmed very tight, so rattling can be less than a new clutch.
Maybe Barnett. That basket had very thin inserts, covering both sides, and rivetted on. So can hardly be renewed and rivetts turn loose and rattles badly ( i have one worn out ).
