DSS yellow light flashing 2021 V4S Multistrada. 2021 V4S good old English weather decided it was to dry about 15 mins after I left the house was out on very wet roads parked the bike in heavy rain to go and collect something and about 1/2 an hour later when I got back on it and rode off the DSS yellow light begun flashing, rode about 15 miles home Popped the bike into the my garage and read up on the light, initially it was flashing on + off fairly slowly then after a few ignition cycles if flashed on for about 0.2 of a second before being off for 1.5 seconds. I used my blower to dry the bike off and I didn't find any obvious broken cables I suspected possible water ingress in the sensor feed in the top of the LHS fork leg so carefully removed the 2 very small hex key bolts and the round plastic cap, no evidence of water was found under the cap but I used a shop vac to put a vacuum on it anyway to draw out any moisture that had worked its way down there, I then re fitted the cap and added some Vaseline to stop any future water ingress. I also followed the wire from the front fork leg to a bundle of cables and connectors behind where the radar unit is and used my drying blower to dry this out On powering the bike back up the light had gone out and it would cycle through various suspension modes adjusting from min to full pre load as it normally does. So set it in Min mode and a quick spin round the block including a zip up to 70 mph to get it to self reset to Auto which it did. The light has not come back on so I'm assuming either water ingress due to extreme rain or the suspension had a brain fart and then fixed itself.
I was advised if the DSS light is flashing it’s the rear shock needs to recalibrate itself. This would have happened on your spin around the block.
