Hi all! I've fitted a pair of Termis with ECU this morning. When I've turned it on and ridden it my DTC and Quickshifter are no longer there! Does the new ECU not support them? Do I need a reflash, or is it just a thing I've got to live with? If I'm to get an ecu reflashed would I be better getting the old (stock) one done or the new one? It's a 12 plate bike, and came with both features as standard. Thanks all!
First question, a 12 plate what ? Second question, are the Termignonis you have fitted a recognised upgrade for your model ? Third question, have you gone into the ECU menu to see if you have to switch them on ? Sadly I have yet to get up to speed with what technology works with which bike otherwise I would have tried to be more helpful. Andy
My mistake, sorry, it's a 1198. I've looked through the menu on the dash and the data logger is still present, but the other two aren't! The Termis are the official kit for the 1198, sold as such.
I think a phone call to your local friendly dealer workshop is in order. Or if you don't have one, try Stuart at Moto Rapido, 01963877998 option 3. Andy
Think the ECU you have is not for your bike. Did you buy them from Ducati or on ebay/similar? Which model of 1198 do you have? IIRC, the base model and S have DTC, with the SP having DTC and a QS.
Are you sure you have the kit for the right year as earlier version probably didn't have those functions ?
I suspect it's a kit for an earlier bike, yes. Would I be wise getting my standard one reflashed then? It's the base model, but had the QS and DTC as standard.
