Anyone know where I can get my hands on a DUC EE exhaust thingy.... Monster parts the agents in the states are out of stock, and I would like to buy one here in the UK. When I ordered the fat ducs recently I was hit with 30 quid import duties for a part that was slightly over £100. 1/3 of the value of the product for the government so they can buy duck houses and squander the tax revenue on other so called expenses....grumble grumble.... Anyway should someone know where I can find one, or if anyone wants to part with one at a reasonable price the pls let me know. Oh and anyone got any experience with these? do they work well? Pros cons??? Appreciate any input or comments!
This is no good for a 1200 Multi. I contacted Moto Creations to ask & here's what they said: It's a different connector -- and I'm unable to get the connector currently via Japan (OEM manufacturer). We are waiting for mid-June for possibly new delivery. With the 1200MS, we have a 2nd issue and why I'm not selling Duc.EE's for them currently. Ducati has two ECU reflashes plus the original ECU flash. Duc.EE works with the original but not with the 2nd/3rd reflashes. We are working on now trying to determine what Ducati did and why -- and then create a new module that works. (and is hopefully adaptable to other future ECU reflashes they do as part of regular service maintenance)
Very interesting info....I think I'll try getting hold of one of those L shaped bits that Leo Vince use as their solution.... On a different note....I fitted the Mivv de cat mid pipe with the BR baffle I bought from Pumpman...and what a difference.....she's much smoother at low rpms.....I was expecting the opposite....but jeez she is LOUD, like in waking the neighbours LOUD....that's with the standard end pipes....love the sound though....
