Ducati 1098R front brake discs complete with Ducati Traction Control bobbins. low mileage and perfect condition. £ 230
Nice wheels, reasonably priced and GLWS Did you feel much difference in handling? The reason I ask is because I switched to BST’s on my 1098R and could barely tell the difference. I’m not raining on your parade, I just found the OE 1098R wheels superb. And light!
The Marchesini lightweight, forged, aluminium alloy wheels on the 1098R are in my experience one of the lightest wheels then and now. They are lighter than my Speciale Magnesio mag alloy wheels by a margin. Definitely tell the difference when I run my spare set on the Multistrada Andy
Well spotted chief ! The 1098R an 998S Bayliss both had new tyres almost at the same time. If my memory serves me right the 998S had only done about 50 miles on that particular tyre. Have you ever heard of scrubbing in ?
So remind me what was the pointless point you were trying to make a point of pointing out adamwhittuk ? These photos were from road riding , not on the track
You might get a better final amount selling the discs separately, as the ones with TC bobbins don't come up very often.
Nice ! If my memory serves me right , hadn’t this swing arm suffered some damage ? Does BST make a single sided carbon swing arm ? Not sure about that Italian flag sticker chief , makes it look chavvy in my opinion
1. No damage at all. 2. This IS a single sided swinger for a 1098. 3. The gel Italian sticker is right where my boot rubbed on the laquer. I stuck it on purely to protect the shineyness It can be peeled off....
Sorry pal my mistake , I can see it’s single sided now. I’m sure I did see a BST single sided swing arm advertised somewhere that had quite a bit of cosmetic damage. The seller was adamant it was only cosmetic and wouldnt affect the functionally or strength , I wasn’t convinced. I’d me tempted to swap the Italian flag gel sticker with some 3M self adhesive transparent wrap
You might get a better final amount selling the discs separately, as the ones with TC bobbins don't come up very often. I have the discs for sale now. separate from the wheels
