Cant help with fuel tank but have two brand new cans in the loft. Also a couple of scratched lower side panels if anyone interested.
I've got one but it's black & been grazed so needs work - it does come complete with QR filler though!
You're going to appear on one of those Channel 4 programs about obsessive hoarders, I'm sure. You've got an NR750 sellotape dispenser. What's the tank for? Paper clips?
I almost bid on a 999 tank on eBay from EliteSuperKnobParts last week. Then it dawned on me that I don't own a 999 or have any intention of buying one right now. :Banghead:
Does it have the VIN number written on a piece of paper to prove it's a genuine prototype, destined to be worth £gazillions in the future?
I bought a black 999 tank off him on a whim - only as it was on a 0.99p start which was unusual for him and I got it for less than £100 - fab condition too.
As it should be. I always carbon date VIN numbers written on cardboard with a Bic roller ball to verify authenticity. I'd hate to get caught out and buy something without the correct provenance, you can never be too careful. :Nailbiting:
Anyway...it's no different when people buy cheap stuff just in case while others have s need to elitesuperknobs breaking perfectly good bikes. All that stuff that fella sold was nearly half eBay price...you could do the right thing and pass it on exige
I bought it for me someone on here bought a 1098R for a steel recently, I wonder if your idea would work on him: as I would like it for what he paid, thanks for your brilliant idea
Ooooooo, tell all, who was it? Was it cheap because it was made of steel, not alloy, titanium, magnesium and rhodium?
