Find a friendly MOT station and they shouldn't fail you. Ask on here for ones local to you. I would say though that the one thing they might well fail a bike with is if they can read the 'Not for road use' typed on any can. You can cover this up with a piece of tape as they are not allowed to remove it.
Do not fret, so long as the system doesn't leak, it will pass. The MoT does not do a Db test, just a 'reasonably silenced' check. This is tester dependant, not an official figure. Do not confuse Law with MoT testing. One is Law, the other is a safety check.... the tester is not allowed to test the Law as he is not qualified so to do, nor is a mechanic a Professional.
