Ducati 748sps Now Sold

  1. Ducati 748SPS, one of the last 20 SPS models registered in the UK in 1999.This is the factory homologation special with high lift cams, titanium Pankl rods, Ohlins rear shock, 54mm Throttle bodies, 45mm Carbon Termignoni exhaust, factory ECU chip, single seat alloy rear subframe, upgraded brakes with fully floating iron discs. The SPS were over £12,250 new and vastly different to the much cheaper standard production bikes, the modifications produced 105bhp @ 11,000rpm.

    First registered 01/02/1999, 4 owners.

    New tyres approximately 1000m ago. A beautiful unmolested example, dry stored and only ever used in summer on fine days. Immaculate condition with the original supplying dealer pack, 2 keys, previous MOTS and tax discs.
    Paddock stand included in sale.

  2. Hi mate has your bike got an oil cooler on it?? Looks like it's missing from the pictures.
     
  3. It has the oe SPS oil cooler Yes. I have taken the original dzus fairing fasteners at present to get them replated as a couple were a bit crappy, there are some non oe dzus on there at the mo. I have the original heel plates in store age as I wanted carbon on there but just those bits. It's got the original iron floating discs on it too, plenty of life left in them. The engine cases are all beautiful with no corrosion. I replaced the rear brake hose as it had corroded. Neil at Cornerspeed said it was a cracking example. The previous owner had the rear Ohlins rebuilt by kais (if I have the name correct).
    It's due the 2 year service with belts this month hence the price reflecting that, I'd be looking for a bit more to reflect that if just done.
