  1. Hi to all,
Thinking of a new 797, anyone's thought's on it being a little small for my medium build 5'10'' frame.
    Big thanks,
    Tim.

  2. Welcome Dave

  3. Welcome medium to fat dude :):upyeah:

  4. Blimey, great welcome, not the replies I expected. Soon be Christmas !

  5. Welcome Tim, buy a Multistrada - that won't be too small :upyeah:

  6. Cheers Harry, I'd need ladders, just thinking the 797 is a bit low for me.Enjoy the sunshine

  7. What inside leg measurements are you? That’s more pertinent to what you’ll fit on.

To state the ‘bleeding obvious’ go and sit on a few, then take your preferred options for a test ride :)

  8. Wow, I was referring to owning one for a period of time.Many thanks for your advice;
Fancy a job in politics ? (Only playing,)

  9. Are your legs telescopic but have a mind of their own  I see your predicament :bucktooth:

  10. This is getting better, I'd like telescopic legs and ladders for comfort , however in this case I just wondered if the 797 was sutable for a person 5'10" .Think I'll buy a bike and call it a day.

  11. Has anyone got anything that resembles a view on this.
    MPG survey next!!

  17. @Tim Mountfield have a look at this site https://cycle-ergo.com/
You can enter your height and leg length and see how you would fit on the bike. Personally while I love monsters I`d pass on the 797 as I think an older 796 is a better all round bike and the 797 seems to depreciate very fast so not a sensible way to spend your money. Very good secondhand of course for that reason.
Have you considered something like a Guzzi V7 ? Quite sedate, full of character and no chain to tighten.

  18. What is it with people we don't ask much a few pictures a nice intro and some bins
