I’ve bought the latest Ducati battery charger which connects to the DDA port. But the lead in the box is for a 4 pin connector but my 2021 SuperSport has the 6 pin connector. My owners manual provides the part number for this charger but it’s clearly incompatible. Anyone know how to connect the old style DDA port to the New style one? What am I missing?
So some google searching later I have identified Ducati part number 5101F571A which is the adapter from new style Euro 5 connectors to the older DDA 4 pin. £15 off eBay. I can’t believe this isn’t included in the battery charger pack! Bloody rip off.
Seems like a faff to me, the dealer I bought my bike from had fitted an optimate lead to the battery. £35 for the charger/ maintainer seemed the easy option.
