Evening guys, went for a ride on the 848 I picked up on Saturday! I'm in love, this is like no other bike I've ridden on and off track... I'm speechless to describe how good it is. But to the meaning of the post, it had the rear hangers/pegs removed when I got it and then the gf wanted a ride out so put them on... I then dropped her off a few hours later and went for a mad half hour before putting the beaut away but whilst giving her a quick wash (the bike) I notice the right hand rear foot peg had gone. Pin, C clip and footpeg and Spring to hold it up ...all of it does anyone have a spare? I can find the peg for sale but not the whole thing, any help would be appreciate. Thanks in advance, Stu Ps, I did post this in technical help but it's posted there, Sorry (move if needed)
Take the rear seat off an fit a cowl so that the bike is a single seater, you won't need rear footpegs then.
Just tell the GF you can't buy rear footpegs anymore for Ducatis now that we are out of European Union, the Italians won't trade with us like they did before (only a little lie!) "So sorry, luv of my life, but you will just have to stay at home" Ducati sports bikes are meant to be Monoposta ... X
just put a request up in the "wanted" section for you. welcome to the forum, and good luck getting hold of one (I did the same when I got my 998s mono, got hold of the bits to do it biposto, and after 1st ride in bip dress, lost a pillion footpeg and hanger) Pete
Hahaha I'd rather chop her head off at minute, it's all sorted now guys was quite suprised at the cost from Ducati, only £31 for everything. Might just stick the Mrs up for sale but it will probably take about 2 years to get rid of her. Bike is coming on, Superpole seat bought just awaiting delivery, tail tidy about to go on this evening, steering damper and few other little things. Gonna fit the NTR rear shock when I get my garage built in next few weeks and wanting to get it on dyno and mapped to see if she's running spot on. Stu.
