  1. Recently bought the above bike and find the suspension very hard, checked the settings and all stock.Any recommendations for softer settings or new springs.

  2. More pasties+

  3. Front forks : 1 full turn of pre load (big nuts on the top of the forks) from fully anti clockwise.
1 full turn of compression (3 legged star on top of forks) from fully anticlockwise
7/8ths of a turn of rebound (slot headed screw at the bottom of the fork leg) from fully anticlockwise
Rear shock : compression, 30 clicks anticlockwise from fully closed (clockwise)
Rebound, 18 clicks anticlockwise from fully closed
Pre load, I would try 4 or 5 clicks clockwise from fully out (anticlockwise)
This should soften everything off. If the front dive under heavy braking is too much increase pre load by a turn at a time. If you are still being launched out of the seat by bumps, soften compression and rebound by a click or 2.
It's best to make small adjustments and then ride the bike to see what the change has done. If you search the forum on the Diavel you will find a post about what I did to the front forks with re springing. Andt
