Have others been notified about a "Ducati digital collectibles program" launched in partnership with "Web3 Pro: «Ducati Legacy»"? The website appears to be: https://web3.ducati.com/ . Any experiences or background information would be appreciated. The information provided in the notification email message wasn't particularly helpful. Tom.
I'm still on the fence with these new NFT releases and whether they will ever be worth anything. The market for these things is highly volatile so whether I will actually buy any more after qualifying for the first free one is doubtful at the moment. I certainly don't understand enough about them to be leasing them out or working out how to generate any income from them other than selling them later on.
I think its all a gimmick NFTs etc. I haven't done a deep dive on the Ducati ones but I would be curious to see how limited the artwork is. If it isn't then its worthless.
People are already sueing providers, dealers and auction houses. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/style/article/bored-apes-sothebys-lawsuit/index.html Feel free to just flush your cash down the toilet, I’m sure you’ll make more money.
It like buying a limited edition print of a valuable work of art in a quality frame signed and numbered by the original artist. Except that it isn’t an actual print, there is no frame, it isn’t really a limited edition, and it isn’t signed or, indeed numbered by the original artist. Where do I sign up
Apropos of nothing, I’m just going to leave this here: A confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust. Confidence tricks exploit victims using a combination of the victim's credulity, naïveté, compassion, vanity, confidence, irresponsibility, and greed. (Wikipedia definition)
Read the linked article. So, to summarise, you’re buying thin air for thousand/millions of dollars. You have nothing to show for it. Nothing to touch. At least when a cafe in Venice square or Rome sells you a small bottle of water for €25 you can touch the rip off
Wise choice ..... stay there , or better still , get off ...... on the same side that you got onto that fence ! You'd be better taking a wild punt on whatever crypto-coin takes your fancy today , just not this one .... OneCoin Ltd, based in Bulgaria and registered in Dubai, and OneLife Network Ltd (registered in Belize), both founded by Ruja Ignatova in concert with Sebastian Greenwood. Ms Ignatova played the game like a grand-master , and her exit strategy must have been in place from the very start . Why so ? ..... because she was very tech savvy , and she knew that it wasn't possible to brush-over the digital traces of her former life , so she had already created a new one , ready to step into . She has been wanted by law enforcement world-wide since 2017 , and none of them have found a single trace ! They can't even track down how or when she left Bulgaria ! That's pretty much essential info , for anyone wanting to know where she went .... Interesting note - Salvador Dali spent his final years being taken out of bed by his " guardians / caretakers " only to have him put his very distinctive signature on huge batches of blank sheets of Litho paper . ( It eventually came undone when French customs busted a van full of them ). PS - I wonder how many people who put money into NFTs actually understand the term "non-fungible" ?
I have to agree... Never under-estimate peoples willingness to invest in something worthless... I was going to leave a snide remark about children in there... but they actually told me what they did at school today. So there...
