This is only a guess , but they probably have similar status to commemorative crown pieces in the UK . Shops are not obliged to accept them but banks will exchange them at face value , which was historically 5 shillings ...... so 25 pence . Apart from a select few pieces , they have little or no value to coin collectors .
I’s this release actually aimed at coin collectors ? I’m not one but I’d pay €15 for the set of 3 coins simply because of the association with Ducati. Sad, sick or what Andy
Well , this could be your lucky day ! I'm still open to offers on my mint condition crown commemorating the wedding of Andy and Fergie ..... it's true ! I've been hanging on to it for sentimental reasons ...... ( ahem - probably a bit less true ) Go on , make me an offer ...... you know you want it , right ?
I'm afraid they cost much more than their face value. At €15 I'd probably buy a set as well, but at €250, I don't think so. https://www.shop.ipzs.it/en/2024-5e-ag-ducati-trittico48-2ms10-24f021.html
Burger me ! So let's get back to the main topic ....a much more reasonably priced "investment" in collectable coins ..... " open to offers on my mint condition crown commemorating the wedding of Andy and Fergie "
Where are you getting that idea ? I know that some of what I write can be a bit garbled at times ...... ...... "Dyslexia Rules KO" But the item I described is certainly not "priceless" ..... in fact it is very affordable !
